Running to daylight

There’s nothing really complicated about what the University of Kentucky has done to take a 28-14 lead in the second half. Every fan email I’ve gotten since the second quarter has mentioned it in some way or another.

Run the ball!

Everybody was clamoring for it but the UK coaching staff in the first half. So what happens to open the second half? Andre’ Woodson starts handing off, and the Cats start marching.

UK ran for 97 yards (on 11 carries) in its first two drives of the second half after running for just 21 yards (on 12 carries) the entire first half.

The Cats now look to have control, 7:24 left in the third
