Woodson up, Brohm down on Heisman list

Heismanpundit.com, the most authoritative Heisman watch web site, has released its third straw poll for this football season.

This poll carries more water than the others, I think, because it polls actual Heisman voters instead of just media pundits who are spouting what they think about the award.

There’s good news in the poll for UK quarterback Andre Woodson and bad news for U of L quarterback Brian Brohm.

Prior to the UK-U of L game, Brohm was the No. 2 votegetter, behind Arkansas running back Darren McFadden, of the Heisman voters on the panel.

After, Brohm has dropped out of the top 10, and Andre Woodson has moved into the poll at No. 8.

The complete poll:

1. Darren McFadden, Arkansas, 44 (8)

2. Tim Tebow, Florida, 16

3. Colt Brennan, Hawaii, 14 (1)

4. Pat White, West Virginia, 12

5. John David Booty, USC, 10

6. Steve Slaton, West Virginia, 9

7. Ray Rice, Rutgers, 6

8. Andre Woodson, Kentucky, 5

Matt Ryan, Boston College, 5

10. Sam Bradford, Oklahoma, 3

Others receiving votes: Brian Brohm, Louisville; Graham Harrell, Texas Tech; Colt McCoy, Texas; Mike Hart, Michigan.

 1. What did UofK’s victory really mean? Bad news! The last two times the Cats beat the Cards, both teams only won seven games.Fans have lost their perspective on this matchup. When UofL falls UofK it is usually a signal of a down year for UofL . Arkansas probably thumps the Cats. Syracuse probably makes it tough for the Cards. All this talk about Woodson and the Heisman will be a hazy memory. Brohm will get his numbers this year, but the Heisman is long gone. The only hope for Cards and Cats fans alike is that somehow I am wrong and UofK is the soon to be crowned champs of the SEC. Which means Louisville lost by six to one of the top teams in the country. Then a rematch ends up being in order in one of the BCS bowl games. Let’s just say that is probably not a likely scenario.

 4. A little off topic, Guys… I have a question. A week ago I played at this site:Rivalspot.com – Ps3 Live Tournaments They say you can play online Nhl2k game tournaments on any console for cash… had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea… Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?

 5. I want to get surround sound for my PlayStation 3 and I was wondering if you have any recommendations on what I should get. When I check out best buy it all "theater systems". I just want surround sound, not a new blue rye DVD etc. I am also planning on what type of HD/LCD TV, what type should I get. (I play Call of Duty 5, games like that) Website links will and store names will help. Any help?

 6. I just got a new Tv and new surround sound…we have an HDMI cable from the cable box to the tv then and HDMI from the surround sound, an audio cable from the surround to the cable box…the surrond works when watching tv however it doesn't work when playing my playstation…the playstation is plugged right into the tv…I tried putting the playstation into the surround and the audio wires into the tv but then it only works for the playstation and not when watching tv…anyone know what i'm doing wrong?
