And the emails keep coming . . .
This from Brian Pauley . . .
Hi Eric-I liked your column today about the advertising at Freedom Hall for UL games. I’m tired of the sensory overload I get by attending the games. It gives me a headache quite honestly and I prefer to have more peace in my life. I’ve sold about 75% of my season tickets this year. Probably won’t be buying next year. Between the ad overkill and awful traffic, I like the view from my couch much better.
And this from an emailer with the handle “skwerl” . . .
Your explanation of this morning’s pitiful article does not justify your consistent passive aggressive hate toward the UofL sports program. I bet my brother Saturday evening that you would find something negative to say about the ball game. Since the Cards made that a little difficult, it seems you opted for degrading remarks of another nature. Thanks for making me look like a psychic and next time you feel like talking smack about UofL just write another of your self serving Mitch Barnhardt worship articles instead. They are much more representative of your personality. One more thing, try never to remind us again of the dark ages when you were a beat writer for UofL. Some nightmares are better forgotten.
