From Stuart Perelmuter, press secretary for Congressman John Yarmuth, a response from the congressman on President Barack Obama’s pick of North Carolina to beat the University of Louisville in the NCAA Championship game:
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3) reacted to the news that President Obama predicted that the University of Louisville Cardinals would win the NCAA basketball championship only to replace them on his bracket moments later with the University of North Carolina.
“President Obama’s excellent instincts told him Louisville would win it all, and I’m disappointed he second-guessed himself,” Congressman Yarmuth said. “I’m sorry Mr. President, but that is change we cannot believe in. Go Cards!”
