ESPN: Pitino's camp contacted Kings

In a “SportsCenter Right Now” segment that just aired, ESPN’s Sage Steele gave an update on Rick Pitino and the Sacramento Kings that indicates some feathers might have been ruffled by this whole thing.

Kenny Klein told ESPN’s Andy Katz this morning, after speaking to Pitino, that the coach, “he’s not going to the Sacramento Kings.”

But in an update that just aired, while a screen graphic was posted with the words: “NBA coaching sources confirm that contact with the Kings was initiated by Rick Pitino’s camp,” Steele said, “Now ESPN.com’s Marc Stein is reporting that Pitino’s camp initiated contact with the Kings and that the Kings hadn’t even considered him for the job until his camp contacted them.”

Now, I don’t have much of a “camp” of my own. But there does seem to be some smoke drifiting up from this particular campsite.

To review, Pitino has done nothing but deny, pretty forcefully through the school’s sports information office, any notion that he’s not returning to U of L.

 1. A little off topic, Guys… I have a question. Last week I discovered this site:Rivalspot.com – Wii Live Tournaments They say you can play online Nhl2k game tournaments on any console for cash… had anyone tried that before? Looks like a cool idea… Are there any other sites where you can play sports games for real moneys? I Googled and found only Bringit.com and Worldgaming.com but it looks these guys don't specialize in sport gamez. Any suggestions?

 2. I just purchased a Playstation 3 a couple of weeks ago. I got a couple of good games for it too. I wonder what good full games are worthy of downloading from the Playstation store?
