Reports out of Green Bay are that Brian Brohm has been waived. The Louisville native and former University of Louisville star had completed 39 of 62 passes for 300 yards in the preseason, but threw three interceptions without a touchdown.
Even with backup Matt Flynn out with a shoulder injury, Brohm still struggled. His best outing came in his last game against the Tennessee Titans, when he completed 20 of 28 passes, but only one was for more than eight yards.
Several reports reference league sources in saying that Brohm is expected to be claimed on waivers. If nobody picks him up in the next 24 hours, he’ll be free to sign as a free agent.
