I’ve already heard BCS apologists lauding last night’s thrilling Boise State-Virginia Tech game as the reason college football is special, that it makes “every game count” and puts added drama and value in the regular season.
A game like that, however, would be special no matter where or when it is played. And Boise State has been messed over perhaps more than any program by the current BCS setup.
